IDENTITY

The first thing we will look at is your identity. For something like an exhibition stand the quality of your logo needs to be very high as it will be reproduced in large-format print. A vector format file such as an EPS (encapsulated PostScript file) is ideal in most cases as it can usually be resized to any dimension without any loss in quality. If you lack a high quality copy of your logo then we can help you to retrieve it or to recreate it, depending on its complexity.
Positioning of your identity within an exhibition stand is very important and we are here to advise you accordingly. For instance, a company logo should never be placed low on the stand as it would be hard to view and easy to conceal by either furniture or people.
COLOUR

Colour is an important issue as it is a strong part of an identity as well as a communicator in its own right. Our experience has taught us that certain colours work well when covering large areas of a stand; others do not convey the right message, whilst some colours may actually work against you. Whatever the case, the corporate colours you have chosen are an important identifier of your company and we will advise you how best to manage these hues.
WORDS

You do not need a lot of words to produce an eye-catching and informative point of contact. Some words will work harder for you than others. These get called different things by different people: synergy-line, elevator-line, strap-line. Whatever you call it you want a clear statement as to what products and services you offer and what is unique about yours!
It is always worth spending a little time working out who you want to be communicating with, what you want to say to them and what difference you make.
Have you got a web site? You will probably want to put a reference to that on your display. (If you don’t have one…speak to us and we can get this sorted for you.)
IMAGES

The use of imagery can be critical in communicating your message and we can guide you in making the best use of any photographs and illustrations. Size is a recurring theme in exhibition design and it is important that any images used are of a high resolution and quality.
The size of an image does not equate to quality. A good picture needs good composition, lighting, and so forth. If you lack good quality images but wish to use some in your stand then we can help you by identifying adequate stock images or by making full use of our photographic studio and equipment. A similar process can be undertaken in the case of illustrations, where we can help to find stock illustrations or alternatively we can create them in-house.
